What Is a Disability Group Home?

A “group home” is a shared residence where a small number (typically 3–6) of people with disability live together and receive round the clock support.

Instead of isolated institutional care, group homes focus on social connection, community participation, and personalised support, while providing safety, accessibility, and dignity.

Residents share common living spaces like kitchens, lounges, and dining areas, yet maintain their own private bedrooms and personal spaces.

What We Provide: Services & Support

Living at an HH&CS group home offers more than accommodation, it is about living a fuller life. Our support includes:

  • 24/7 on site support staff for assistance with everyday living, personal care, mobility, medication, and health needs
  • Assistance with daily living tasks including personal care, meals, cleaning, household management, transport, and daily routines
