At Hope Health & Care Services (HH&CS), we offer Supported Independent Living (SIL) housing across NSW, QLD, and VIC. Our SIL homes provide participants with disability-accessible accommodation + personalised support, enabling you to live confidently and comfortably in a home that feels like your own.

What is SIL (Supported Independent Living)?

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS-funded support service designed for people with disability who need regular, ongoing help to manage daily living tasks, while still enjoying independence and dignity.

SIL can be provided in shared homes with other participants or, depending on needs and plan — in individual accommodation. Support includes personal care, household tasks, health and safety support, and capacity building to help you live as independently as possible.

  • Require regular support with daily living tasks and personal care
  • Need support with mobility, medical needs, or consistent supervision

What We Provide: Services & Support in Our SIL Homes

Our SIL housing options are more than just a place to live — they are about building a stable, supportive home and helping you live your best life. Support includes:

  • Daily personal care & hygiene support — showering, dressing, mobility, transfers, medication reminders/administering (as required).
  • Cooking, meals & nutrition support — meal preparation, meal planning, safe feeding or special dietary requirements where applicable.
  • Household & home-maintenance support — cleaning, laundry, chores, home organisation, ensuring living environment is clean, safe, and accessible.
  • Support with daily living skills & independence building — helping you learn or maintain skills like cooking, organising, managing medications, routines, safe mobility, and household management.
  • Community access & social support — assistance with attending appointments, social or recreational outings, community programs, transportation support (if included in your plan).
  • 24/7 or around-the-clock support for those with high needs — for participants requiring regular support or overnight care.
